Job summary

Singing River Health System in Ocean Springs is seeking a Patient Care Associate to provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LPN. The role follows established care plans and CDC infection control guidelines to ensure patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and preferably a Nurse Assistant/Aide program; CNA certification on hire is required for SNF unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Nurse Assistant/Aide program preferred.
• Current CNA certification preferred; certification required for SNF unit on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Follow a predefined care plan and CDC infection control guidelines.
• Assist with patient comfort, safety, and daily activities.
• Maintain documentation and use office tech (Outlook/Word).
