Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Successful completion of Nurse Assistant/Aide program preferred.
CNA Certification required upon hire for SNF unit.
Must complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire/transfer.
De-escalation training must be completed by end of orientation (90 days).
Equivalent related work experience or completion of a Nurse Aide program is required.

Responsibilities

Provides basic nursing care to patients according to a plan of care established by a Registered Nurse or LPN.
Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or LPN.
Adheres to CDC Infection Control guidelines and department procedures and policies.
Maintains professional conduct and customer service in interactions with patients and staff.
May travel to other SRHS facilities within the service area as required.
