Mountain View Hospital is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to efficiently admit patients for outpatient testing and procedures. You will collect and verify personal, emergency, and insurance information and ensure accurate data entry into the system, while upholding Urgent Care policies.

You will handle patient payments, maintain confidentiality, and coordinate with supervisors, nurses, and physicians to support smooth admissions and patient care.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and verify patient information and insurance details.
• Proficient in data entry with high accuracy.
• Professional communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for outpatient testing and procedures.
• Obtain and verify personal, emergency, and insurance information.
• Obtain signature on MSE and Admission forms.
• Accept and post patient payments and balance cash drawer.
• Maintain department records and confidentiality of patient information.
• Ensure understanding of Urgent Care policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, nurses, and physicians.
• Maintain time clock integrity and attendance as per policy.
• Answer incoming calls professionally and promptly.
