Community Physicians in Evanston, IL is seeking a Parts-Time Medical Assistant to join our clinical operations team. You will work alongside physicians and staff to provide high-quality outpatient care in a fast-paced practice.

The role emphasizes accurate vital signs, patient rooming, labs, and clear communication while ensuring HIPAA and safety standards are met. A CMA/RMA is preferred, with CPR/BLS required or obtainable before start date.

Competenze

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required or willing to obtain prior to start date.

Mansioni

• Greet patients, record vital signs, document chief complaints, and update medication lists in the EHR.
• Prepare exam rooms, sanitize equipment between appointments, stock supplies, and assist providers during examinations.
• Collect and prepare basic lab specimens and record results in patient charts.
• Manage patient follow-up calls, communicate test results under provider direction, process routine prescription refills, and handle rooming paperwork.
• Maintain compliance with safety guidelines, OSHA standards, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
