Eddy Hawthorne Ridge in East Greenbush, NY is seeking a Part Time Night Resident Assistant to support memory care residents. This role provides compassionate care under supervision, assisting with ADLs and daily routines.

The RA helps with medications as needed, promotes independence, and maintains a safe, respectful living environment for residents with memory loss. Candidates should have patience and empathy; HS diploma preferred; experience in senior care is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess patience, empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in senior care preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Assist residents in taking medications as needed under supervision.
• Encourage and support resident independence and dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and well-being and report changes to the LPN/RN.
• Build meaningful relationships by understanding residents' histories and routines.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
• Provide light housekeeping and meal service as needed to maintain a safe environment.
