Job summary

Focus School Software LLC invites applications for a Paraprofessional IV role supporting 9-12 grade students in a University school site. The successful candidate will assist teachers, monitor attendance, provide tutoring, and help implement behavior and safety plans in collaboration with staff and families.

Holds a high school diploma or GED and may qualify with an associate degree, 48 college hours, or Para Pro certification. STAR substitute training within one year is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Offers multiple pathways: Associate’s degree or higher, 48 college hours, or Para Pro Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Implement services for students with disabilities per policies.
• Assist paraprofessionals in responsibilities.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring and small group support as directed by the teacher.
• Monitor attendance and required documentation.
• Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral plans.
• Provide supervision and safety for students as needed.
• Translate as necessary.
• Support classroom Instruction and documentation using basic software.
