Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary training/classes preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to follow instructions and take initiative.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support teachers, administrators, and staff in classrooms and during school activities.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Provide support for students with special needs or 504 plans as directed.
• Prepare instructional materials and classroom setups as needed.
• Supervise students in various school settings (classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, playground, field trips).
• Maintain confidentiality and a positive, cooperative attitude.
