Job summary

WESTSIDE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is hiring a Part-time Paraprofessional IV to support licensed teachers in PRE-K. The role involves assisting students with disabilities, executing IEP goals, and providing one-on-one tutoring and small-group support.

Successful completion of STAR and the ability to document student progress are required. Duties include supervision, safety, and communication with parents and staff in a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications

• Holds a HS diploma or GED or equivalent and one of the following: associate degree or 48 college credits or Para Pro passing.
• Successful completion of STAR substitute training within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to assist with instructional tasks and implement IEP goals.

Responsibilities

• Implement services for students with disabilities per policies and procedures.
• Assist other paraprofessionals in performance responsibilities.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring and small group support as directed by the teacher.
• Assist in supervising students and ensure safety during activities.
• Maintain documentation and attendance records as required.
• Assist with behavioral support plans and crisis intervention as needed.
• Support teachers with instructional delivery and program documentation.
