Job summary

Turning Point of Tampa is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician for overnight shifts. You will support clients with daily living skills, social interaction, and emotional regulation, while working with a multidisciplinary team to implement personalized plans.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, experience in behavioral health, and a background in the 12‑Step program. A background check and clean driving record are required; benefits and professional growth opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in psychology or related field preferred.
• Ability to work overnight Thu–Sat 9:00 p.m.–9:00 a.m., including holidays as scheduled.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills; well organized.
• Experience in mental/behavioral health environment preferred; 12‑Step experience required.
• Must have valid driving record and pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one support focusing on daily living, social, and emotional regulation skills.
• Assist with behavioral interventions and crisis management ensuring client safety.
• Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and nurses to implement treatment plans.
• Engage clients in recreation, education, and community activities to boost engagement.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of client progress and services.
