Job summary

Mercy is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to support patient-centered rehabilitation within our Healthcare & Medical Services team in Springfield, Missouri.

You will work closely with licensed Occupational Therapists to implement treatment plans, guide patients through therapeutic activities, and help promote independence in daily living skills. Documentation, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration are essential to our care approach.

Qualifications

• OTA program completion and eligibility for state licensure.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans under OT supervision.
• Guide patients through therapeutic activities and activities of daily living.
• Document progress, educate patients and families, and support discharge planning.
