Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and provide friendly, professional, and compassionate customer service.
• Schedule appointments and accurately register patient demographic and insurance information.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect applicable copayments and self-pay payments.
• Answer, screen, and appropriately direct incoming telephone calls.
• Obtain and document accurate patient information and relay clear, concise telephone messages.
• Ensure patients receive the appropriate forms and paperwork to complete prior to their appointments.
• Request and coordinate the receipt of medical and dental records as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clinic staff to promote smooth and efficient patient flow.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of NHC's mission.
