Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in a medical office environment.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a busy oncology/hematology clinic.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for patients to see physician, APP, labs, scans, etc.
• Confirm patient appointments.
• Maintain office schedules for the physicians and extenders.
• Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
• Receive and route messages and documents as needed.
• Greet patients and direct them to appropriate staff.
• Operate office equipment and software as needed.
• Perform various clerical and administrative functions as needed.
• Transmit information or documents as needed using computer, mail, or fax.
