The purpose of the Physician Scheduler is to schedule patients for a specific physician. This includes scheduling appointments, follow-ups, and rescheduling missed appointments.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. At least (1) year experience in a medical office environment required.
This position works in the scheduling department of a busy oncology/hematology clinic. Patient interaction is required.
This position requires that the employee be able to sit at a computer for up to eight hours a day. Heavy phone usage is also required.
