Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the OT team in delivering patient care per physician plans. The role emphasizes accurate charting, coordination with nursing and therapy staff, and involvement in discharge preparation.

You will document progress and participate in training to maintain high care standards. Candidate must hold an active OTA license in the state and be proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state.
• Proficient with clinical documentation and EMR systems.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policies.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers and families.
• Ability to perform basic math for clinical data and treatment planning.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per OT Board.
• Treat patients per the physician treatment plan.
• Assist nursing staff with training of Restorative Aides.
• Communicate with supervisor and health team regarding patient progress and plans.
• Participate in in-services training for staff.
