Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the occupational therapy team in patient care and treatment documentation. You will work under the OT, record daily and weekly notes, and participate in discharge planning while ensuring compliance with state practice acts.

The role requires an active OT Assistant license, proficiency with Casamba and Point Click Care, and strong communication with patients, families, and colleagues. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state.
• Proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care systems.
• Ability to read and implement technical procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per OT Board.
• Follow physician treatment plans and discharge planning.
• Instruct families and nursing staff for maintenance and caregiver training.
• Communicate patient progress with supervisor and health team.
• Support in-services and maintain required documentation.
