Job summary

Crestway Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic care to residents under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor. The role involves assisting with daily activities, maintaining resident hygiene, and supporting clinical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include participating in shift reports, explaining procedures to residents, and ensuring comfort by managing linens, beds, and adaptive equipment.

Qualifications

• State-approved Nurse Aide Training and competency evaluation; name on State Registry as Nurse Aide in good standing.
• Ability to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and receives nursing report on reporting for duty.
• Assists residents with bathing, grooming, hygiene and placement of adaptive equipment.
• Explains procedures to residents before administering.
• Keeps residents dry and changes gowns, clothing, linens when wet or soiled.
• Changes bed linens and keeps linens tight to avoid wrinkles.
• Makes beds (occupied and unoccupied).
