Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Nursing Assistant (NAC) to support patient flow and care in the clinic. The NAC will assist with vital signs, ADLs, and patient transport while maintaining HIPAA privacy and high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• WA Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Current BLS/CPR card and renewal every two years.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and problem solve.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records.

Responsibilities

• Attend to patient flow and room patients in care area.
• Perform patient care activities including vital signs and ADLs.
• Assist with procedures and use of lift equipment.
• Document vitals and patient information per policy.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide courteous and effective customer service.
