Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Washington.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written).
• Ability to assist with age-appropriate patient care and maneuver patients/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Admissions RN to support smooth patient flow in peri-anesthesia areas.
• Perform patient care procedures per Evergreen Surgical Center policies.
• Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfers.
• Communicate with families in waiting areas about patient progress.
• Complete paperwork and provide clerical support.
