Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding and mobility.
• Measures and documents vital signs and intake/output in the EMR.
• Conducts purposeful rounds and communicates observations to the RN.
• Assists with admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Stocks nursing station, transports supplies, and cleans equipment and areas.
• Maintains skin integrity and uses age-appropriate patient-care practices.
