Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is seeking a part-time Nursing Aide (CNA) for 24 hours per week, with two 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7:30pm, and rotating holidays/weekends. Responsibilities include assisting the RN with daily patient care, vital signs, and data entry in the EMR.

Must obtain BLS within 45 days and hold a GED/HSED or high school diploma. Experience requirements are listed as none; lift and physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing in State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care such as bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
• Record vital signs and patient data in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate needs to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Handle specimen collection and lab-related tasks as directed.
