UCI Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support professional nursing staff. You will take vital signs, assist with patient hygiene, and help maintain a safe, clean unit across Orange and Irvine campuses.

The role requires English proficiency, a CNA or LVN certification (or active nursing student), and current BLS. Weekend and holiday availability is expected as part of the duties.

Formación

• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Must float between Orange and Irvine locations as needed.
• CNA certification or LVN enrollment or nursing program with at least 1 clinical semester.
• Must read, write and speak English effectively.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Approved workplace violence responder training within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.

Responsabilidades

• Take and record vital signs.
• Assist patients with hygiene and elimination.
• Maintain a clean and safe unit environment.
• Stock unit supplies.
• Operate hospital equipment as directed.
• Perform routine clerical tasks.
• Assist with other related duties as assigned.
