Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct care in Northern Pines Care Center, a skilled nursing facility. The role supports residents’ safety, hygiene, nutrition, and comfort, with emphasis on reporting changes to the shift nurse.

Qualifications

• Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtain within 4 months of hire/transfer.
• If transitioning from the Nursing Assistant – Student position, must have registration upon hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to skilled nursing facility residents, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist with personal hygiene and nutritional needs; report changes to the shift nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean, neat environment and prevent abuse of vulnerable adults.
• Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective actions as needed.
