Essentia Virginia Care Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will assist with personal hygiene, meals, and daily needs while maintaining safety and a clean environment.

The role requires current state nursing assistant registration or eligibility to obtain within 4 months, and works 0.8 FTE with flexible D/E/N shifts. Union presence and holidays are noted; benefits include medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• Current nursing assistant registration in the applicable state or able to obtain within 4 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to skilled nursing facility residents.
• Assists with personal hygiene and nutritional needs.
• Identifies safety hazards and reports changes in resident condition promptly.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and neat environment for residents.
