Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification from state.
• Maintain CPR Certification.
• High School Graduate or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) to residents daily.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record resident vitals, weights, intake/output, and food consumption.
• Turn and position residents to prevent discomfort and pressure ulcers.
• Observe changes in resident condition and report to Charge Nurse.
• Assist in developing and updating the care plan with nursing staff.
• Ensure residents receive adequate hydration and assist with meals as needed.
