Thomson Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under supervision of licensed nurses. The role focuses on compassionate, respectful support and a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the Charge Nurse. Collaboration with the nursing team and adherence to facility policies are essential for quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification from state.
• Organized and detailed in work performance.
• Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience.
• Genuine caring for elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility.
• Comply with Resident Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures.
• Perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements.
• Perform Essential Duties as outlined above.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents daily and as needed.
• Record vital signs, weights, and intake/output.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices.
• Observe changes and report to Charge Nurse.
• Promote teamwork and hospitality for residents.
• Attend in-service education programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident records.
