Brown University Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant at Newport Hospital to support patient care from admission to discharge under RN supervision. You will perform personal care, monitor safety, and document observations in the EHR in compliance with hospital policies.

The position requires RI CNA license, BLS certification, and at least high school diploma; one year of experience preferred. Work schedule is 36 hours weekly, day shift, with rotating weekends.

Formación

• Current Rhode Island license as a Nursing Assistant.
• Certified in American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• One-year experience as a Nursing Assistant preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with RN to organize work and set priorities.
• Personal Care Skills and basic nursing assistant tasks as outlined by RI Department of Health.
• Rehabilitation skills including activities of daily living and ambulation as appropriate.
• Maintenance of a safe environment; report unsafe conditions and equipment in need of repair.
• Recognition of and reporting signs and symptoms; communicate observations to the RN.
• Safety: maintain infection control and accurately document data in the EHR; perform in emergencies.
