Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Rhode Island license as a Nursing Assistant.
• High school graduate or its equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform basic computer skills.
• Certified in American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to provide care to patients across the life span.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Registered Nurse to organize work and set priorities.
• Performs personal care and basic nursing assistant tasks under RN supervision.
• Assists with rehabilitation activities and activities of daily living.
• Maintains safe environment and reports unsafe conditions and equipment needs.
• Documents patient observations and care data in the EHR.
• Participates in safety, infection control and emergency procedures.
