Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a dedicated patient care aide for our 36621 Navicent Health Medical Center – Psychiatric unit in Macon, GA. This full-time role runs 7a-7p with three shifts per week, including weekends and holidays, totaling 36 hours weekly.

The position offers benefits eligibility and comprehensive hospital support. Responsibilities include direct patient care across body systems, pre/post-op procedures, and accurate documentation using EMR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate with patients, staff, and coworkers.
• Experience with patient care and hospital routines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for all body systems, including bathing, oral hygiene, and hygiene support.
• Pre- and post-op/ procedure care.
• Monitor and document intake/output, vital signs, weights and other parameters using computerized charting.
