Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute required.
• Completed course of instruction from acceptable training school or equivalent training which prepares the employee to meet the designated requirements.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Current CNA certification in the state of applicable state.
• BCLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a clean, safe and quiet environment in support of patient comfort and contentment.
• Promote the practice of family-centered care.
• Provide supportive care to patients in all units with adequate supervision and cross training.
• Work cooperatively with the medical staff and other hospital staff who support the care of adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
