Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Navicent Health Medical Center NICU in Macon, GA. The role is a full-time night shift (three 12-hour shifts, 7p-7a) with holidays, weekends, and some call required.

Required is a nursing degree and an active RN license; BSN preferred. You will work within a dynamic team, engage in quality initiatives, and document care in the EHR, ensuring age-appropriate, evidence-based patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state privileges.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care from admission to post-discharge.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintains accurate and timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and promotes ethical decision-making.
