Job summary

The Waterford at Westover Hills in San Antonio, Texas is hiring a Nursing Aide to support residents in our ASSISTED LIVING and MEMORY CARE communities. You will assist with daily living activities, medications, and promoting resident independence with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, medication administration, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escort residents within and outside the building as needed.
• Assist with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards.
• Assist with planning and executing activities for residents on a regular basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
