Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS (AHA) within 90 days of hire.
• BLS (ARC) within 90 days of hire.
• Nurse Tech; CNA certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Collects and reports patient needs in coordination with RN or Provider.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation.
• Provide direct patient care under RN/Provider direction.
• Contribute to an individualized plan of care.
• Explain nursing technician role to patient, family and team.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and report equipment issues.
• Uphold privacy, confidentiality and security of data.
