Job summary

Advocate Health Union - Nursing: IU Surgical Care is seeking a Part-time Nurse Aide I for 24 hours per week. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and support daily patient care within a surgical unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for new hires on or after 7/22/2018.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living for patients/residents.
• Assist with personal hygiene.
• Take vital signs and height/weight measurements.
• Feed and ambulate patients/residents according to procedures.
• Maintain patient rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
• Observe and report changes in patient conditions.
