Job summary

JEVS Care at Home in Easton, PA is seeking a compassionate in-home Caregiver to support clients with daily living activities per care plans. You will receive training on ADLs, PPE, CPR and dementia care, helping clients maintain independence in their own homes.

The role includes completing competency exams, annual recertification, and meeting basic requirements to work in the U.S. A CNA is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Client Care Manager; completion of Caregiver Orientation.
• Must satisfactorily complete JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation with 80% passing score.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client in daily life as indicated by the care plan and help maintain independence.
• Provide training and tools to perform ADLs; access to PPE.
• Participate in CPR, First Aid, and Dementia Training as needed.
• Demonstrate understanding of independent living philosophy and comply with regulations.
• Complete competency examination after training and orientation; annual recertification.
