Job summary

JEVS Care at Home is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support clients in daily living per individual care plans. Training in ADLs, PPE access, and ongoing professional development including CPR, First Aid, and dementia care are provided.

Caregivers complete orientation, a competency exam, and annual recertification, while maintaining client confidentiality under HIPAA. Minimum 18 years old and legal work status are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School diploma or GED required
• Certified Nurse Aide certification preferred but not required
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to communicate with Client Care Manager
• Completion of Caregiver Orientation
• Must pass JEVS Care at Home written exam and orientation with 80% passing score
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• As a Caregiver you will assist clients in daily life per their care plan and support independence.
• Caregivers receive training on ADLs and have access to PPE; CPR, First Aid and Dementia Training provided as development.
• Demonstrate understanding of independent living philosophy and encourage it.
• Complete competency exam after training and orientation; annual recertification thereafter.
