Avamere Living is seeking a part-time Server in Las Vegas to deliver exceptional dining service in a memory care, assisted living, and/or independent living setting. You will take orders, serve meals, and ensure a clean, welcoming dining environment for residents and guests.

The role emphasizes accurate order taking, prompt service, and adherence to food safety standards while collaborating with kitchen staff and fellow servers. Shifts vary by schedule.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and hair restraint.
• Interpersonal skills to engage with residents and guests.
• Familiarity with dietary practices and related regulations in hospital/nursing home settings.
• Willingness to work part-time with varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Promptly and courteously delivering food and beverages to residents, ensuring attractive presentation.
• Providing attentive and friendly service, checking on residents' needs during meals.
• Assisting with setting up the dining room before meals and maintaining cleanliness.
• Clearing tables after meals and resetting them for the next service.
• Taking and delivering room service orders to residents’ apartments.
• Being familiar with the menu and dietary needs, answering questions.
• Interacting professionally with residents and guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Following all food safety and hygiene procedures and sanitation practices.
• Collaborating with wait staff and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Disposing of food and waste per policy.
