Job summary

Tree of Life Personal Care and Memory Care Home in Hanover, PA is seeking 3rd shift Personal Care Assistants to support residents in daily living activities, meals, housekeeping and dementia care. You will work closely with the LPN and administration to maintain comfort, safety and dignity for each resident.

We value compassionate care, good communication with families, and teamwork. Prior PCA or CNA experience with dementia or memory care is preferred; high school diploma or GED is required;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PCA or CNA with at least one year of dementia care experience required.
• Knowledge of dementia care and caregiver needs.
• Ability to promote mental stimulation and social engagement.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Understand of elderly care and chain of command.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and ADL assistance to residents as needed.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping and laundry.
• Maintain clean, safe, and dignified living areas.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to LPN and administrator.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in care planning.
• Assist residents to dining room safely.
