Job summary

The Bungalows at Nevada is hiring a Resident Care Associate (CNA) to join our assisted living and memory care team. You will provide hands-on care, support residents and families, and implement Personalized Service Plans to promote safety and comfort during day-to-day activities.

Shift details: Mon-Fri, 2pm-10pm. The role requires compassion, adherence to rights and regulations, and ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred and may be required by the state
• Previous experience with elders or disabled individuals preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old for personal care tasks
• Experience in Assisted Living or Dementia care preferred
• Able to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Participates in creating and updating Personalized Service Plans; attends plan review meetings with families
• Follows hydration schedules and maintains them during the shift
• Completes meal attendance sheets; provides room service if not dining in dining room
• Knows and complies with resident rights
• Initiates and assists with activities as appropriate
• Checks residents daily for cleanliness, clothing, continence, and changes in condition
• Uses proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions
• Inspects resident rooms daily for cleanliness; highlights high-risk rooms
• Assists with laundry and housekeeping areas; addresses hazardous chemicals
• Completes all ADLs per PSP for assigned residents
• Responds promptly to security systems and call bells; resets bells as needed
