Job summary

The Bungalows at Bowling Green is hiring Resident Care Associates to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. This CNA role follows each resident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP) and seeks to maintain a safe, home-like environment.

Shift details include Mon-Fri with every other weekend required; reporting to the Family Experience Director or Assistant.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elders or disabled individuals is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform personal care aspects.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development and updates of Personalized Service Plans and attends plan review meetings with families.
• Maintains hydration schedule for residents.
• Ensures residents who do not dine in the dining room receive room service or are accounted for.
• Knows and complies with resident rights.
• Initiates and assists with activities as appropriate.
• Checks residents daily for cleanliness, clothing, continence, and changes in condition.
• Follows sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Monitors assigned rooms for cleanliness and safety; coordinates with housekeeping as needed.
• Assists with laundry and common areas and secures hazardous chemicals.
• Completes ADLs per PSP.
• Responds promptly to security system and resident call bells.
