Job summary

The Bungalows at Branson Meadows is hiring a Resident Care Associate (CNA) to join our team for evening shifts. This role focuses on delivering high-quality care, supporting residents and families, and implementing personalized service plans in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods.

Responsibilities include following hydration schedules, assisting with activities, maintaining safety, and ensuring residents’ comfort.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred and may be required by the state.
• Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to perform the personal care aspects of the RCA position.
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available to our customers at peak service delivery days and times.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development of Personalized Service Plans and updates; attends service plan review meetings with families as requested.
• Follows the hydration schedule established for residents and maintains it during the shift.
• Completes resident meal attendance sheets; ensures residents who did not dine are served room service or accounted for.
• Knows and complies with all resident rights.
• Initiates, assigns, and assists with activities as appropriate.
• Checks assigned residents daily for cleanliness, attire, continence issues, and changes in condition.
• Uses proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Inspects resident rooms daily for cleanliness and neatness; double-checks high-risk rooms.
• Assists with laundry rooms and common areas; ensures cleanliness, reports hazards and secures chemicals.
• Completes all ADLs for assigned residents per PSP.
• Responds to security system and resident call bells promptly and takes appropriate action.
