Job summary

Prestige Senior Living – Arbor Place in Medford, Oregon, is seeking caregivers who provide direct resident care, assist with daily activities, and maintain a supportive, respectful environment for residents. Qualifications

• Competency evaluation will be completed within 120 days of employment.
• State-required training including Revised Fundamentals of Care, Dementia Care, First Aid, CPR and HIV training is required or documented prior training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct resident care while promoting dignity, independence and choice.
• Observes residents’ physical and mental conditions and reports changes to supervisor.
• Assists with ADLs, takes vitals and documents care provided.
• Assists residents to dining and activities, serves meals and helps with dining room duties.
• Performs First Aid and initiates emergency procedures as needed.
• Adheres to fire safety and infection control practices and reports unsafe conditions.
• Assists with tours, move-ins/outs, transfers, and coordination of personal care services.
• Attends trainings, in-services, and staff meetings.
