Prestige Senior Living – Arbor Place in Medford, OR is seeking a Medication Technician to provide medications and direct resident care. You will assist with daily living activities, dining, and cooperative service plans while upholding dignity and independence for residents.

The role requires adherence to physician orders and state regulations, accurate documentation, and collaboration with health staff to ensure safe, quality care in a warm, community setting.

Competenze

• One or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred or as required by state regulations.
• State-required medication pass certification or other required certification, complete delegation and/or training requirements, and complete the medication pass competency.
• Word processing skills.
• Current CPR certification, First Aid training, and Food Handlers permit as required by state regulations.
• Complete all state-required trainings as necessary.

Mansioni

• Responsible for the daily operation of the medication room and medication services as directed by the HSD.
• Processes physician medication and treatment orders in accordance with state regulations and the nurse practice act.
• Administers and assists with self-administration of routine and non-routine medications.
• Maintains accurate records of medication and treatment services provided or omitted.
• Coordination with pharmacies for medication orders and refills.
