Job summary

Prestige Senior Living – Arbor Place in Medford, OR is seeking a Medication Technician to provide medication services and direct resident care, supporting a safe, respectful, and community-focused environment. You will manage the medication room, process orders, assist with self-administration, document records, and coordinate with pharmacies, physicians, and families.

A strong commitment to dignity and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• One or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred.
• Must hold state required medication pass certification or other required certification.
• Must complete state required delegation and/or training requirements, and successfully complete the medication pass competency.
• Must have current CPR certification, First Aid training, and Food Handlers permit as required by state regulations.
• Must complete all state required trainings as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the medication room and services per orders.
• Process physician medication orders per state regulations.
• Administer and assist with the self-administration of medications per orders.
• Complete simple treatments and monitor residents as directed by the HSD.
• Maintain accurate medication and treatment records for each resident.
