Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with medication administration and activities of daily living per individualized plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state medication administration license (CMA/CNA/CMT/QMAP/Certified Caregiver) or meet state requirements for medication administration in assisted living.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration as outlined in care plans.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and storage; coordinate re-orders and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Promote independence and provide emotional support through engagement and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
