Job summary

Sunflower Springs of Lake Wylie is seeking a Medication Technician to support residents in a compassionate, safe environment. The role includes supervising self-administration of medications, assisting with daily activities, and helping with dining services.

You will work closely with nursing staff to monitor residents’ health, report changes, and maintain a clean, secure facility. A Med-Tech certification and GED/HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Medicine Technician (Med-Tech) certification is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures; basic math and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises self-administration of medication for residents.
• Assists with ADLs, meal service, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Maintains clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
• Interacts with residents with empathy and respect; communicates effectively.
• Observes changes in residents' health and reports to supervisor.
• Assists in dining room during meals and follows schedule.
