Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to deliver safe, accurate medication care for our residents.

You will administer meds per physician orders, observe residents, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and maintain clean carts and rooms. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid, and strong documentation and communication skills; senior care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer meds as ordered for relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
