Job summary

Cogir USA is seeking a Med Tech/CMA to provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with medication administration and daily living activities in accordance with individualized plans.

The role requires a High School Diploma, valid state medication administration license, and First Aid/CPR certification, with at least 12 months of experience in a caregiving setting. Weekend rotation and team-based support are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid state medication administration license (CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP/Certified Caregiver) or meet state requirements.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration as outlined in the care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and proper storage, and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies as necessary.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Prioritize independence and provide emotional support through engagement and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
