Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician (CMA) to provide compassionate, direct care to residents, assisting with medication administration and activities of daily living in accordance with individualized care plans. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to resident comfort, safety, and wellbeing.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid state medication administration license, current CPR/First Aid, and at least 12 months of experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state medication administration license (CMA/CMT/QMAP or equivalent) is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration when applicable.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and coordinate re-orders and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living as part of a team.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities and maintain open communication with residents, families, and staff.
