Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a Med Tech/CMA to provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with medication administration and activities of daily living in a supportive environment.

Join our team to help residents stay safe and comfortable, participate in life enrichment programs, and collaborate with a dedicated care team. Weekend rotation is required, and paid benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid state medication administration license (CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP/Certified Caregiver) or meet state requirements.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication as per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and coordinate re-orders and deliveries.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Promote independence and provide emotional support and engagement.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Maintain open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents and staff.
