Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Davenport, IA is seeking a Medication Technician to support resident care by accurately administering daily medications. You will follow physician orders and the Six rights of medication administration, using the eMAR system and coordinating with clinical leadership to ensure safe, compassionate care.

This role requires an active MT certification (or 1 year of senior care experience), a HS diploma or GED, and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Active MT certification or at least 1 year of senior care experience.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow the resident MAR to administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six rights of medication administration and Bickford policies.
• Utilize the eMAR system for medication administration.
• Communicate with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed team members on shift.
• Demonstrate the Bickford Mission ‘Whatever it Takes’ on shift.
